In Acts Chapter 1 Jesus told the disciples there would be a coming baptism of the Holy Spirit. They would receive a dimension of power after He was gone. Fifty days later this occurs in an incredibly powerful way when the believers in Jesus received the Holy Spirit. It was an awesome day! Peter got up before the awestruck crowd and told them this was the fulfillment of what the prophet Joel said that God would pour out His spirit on all people.
From that day forward believers in Jesus could receive the powerful dimension of the Holy Spirit. The incredible events in the lives of believers are recorded throughout the book of Acts and elsewhere confirming the wonders of the Holy Spirit. Do you have that dimension in your life?
