Not A Sip, Not a Taste, But An Immersion

Jesus told his disciples in Acts Chapter 1 to “wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” When that baptism happened 50 days later, their lives changed dramatically. They became confident and powerful in their declaration of the Good News of Jesus! They didn’t get a taste of the Holy Spirit. They didn’t get a sip of the Holy Spirit. They were immersed in the Holy Spirit.

To be baptized with the Holy Spirit is a significant event in the life of a believer. If you have not been immersed in the Holy Spirit, as promised by Jesus, you’re missing out on God’s best for you. You can have it. . . just ask and receive that Spirit baptism. God is faithful to give the gift if you’re open to receive it.
