Leaders Must Teach The Bible Is God's Word

I’m continuing with the leadership series on hearing the voice of God. Scripture is the foundational block for God’s voice. In 2 Tim. 3:14-17 it says, "But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

As we learn to hear God’s voice from His written word, we develop stability in our relationship with Him. We develop discipline in our time with Him. We develop character as a reflection of Him. His written word is His voice to the world and His general will for all people. Every leader in the body of Christ must both personally experience and corporately teach that the Bible is God’s word.
