Leaders Start to Hear God's Voice From the Written Word and Then Can Hear the Father's Voice In Other Ways
I’m continuing with the leadership series on hearing the voice of God. Scripture is the foundational block for God’s voice. 2 Tim. 3: 14-17 says that it’s useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. It is from Scripture that the Father teaches us about Jesus. It is from Scripture that the Father rebukes us about using grace as a license. It is from Scripture that the Father corrects our thinking in regard to our identity in Christ the Hope of Glory. It is from scripture that the Father trains us to understand our righteousness is by faith in Jesus not in our works.
When we combine our faith with Scripture, the power of His Word changes our lives. We experience His voice through His Word. Every leader in the body of Christ starts hearing God’s voice from His written, revealed Word. And by doing so, lays the foundation for accurately hearing the Father’s voice in many other ways.
